George Lucas Returning To Star Wars?

Rumor has it George Lucas may return to Lucasfilm's once Kathleen Kennedy's contract is up. There are also rumors of a George Lucas cut of The Rise Skywalker. I can see Lucas returning as a creative consultant or something but I don't seem him taking over the reins once Kennedy is gone.

As far as the rumors of a Lucas cut of The Rise Of Skywalker there does appear to be enough evidence to suggest there is a Lucas cut in existence but I don't believe we will ever see it. First Disney almost never releases multiple cuts of a film, second Disney never admits to mistakes. In the eyes of Disney releasing the Lucas cut would be admitting to a mistake.
